Geminate comes with a feature to sell out all the KIT or Combo products as early as possible those containing component products which are configured by tracking serial / lot and having expiry date configured on them. so based on removal strategy of FIFO. we are picking up all those KIT or Combo products who's component's are going to expire soon. we can easily track the lot / serial details of eligible components of KIT or Combo products from delivery order on 'Component Lot / Serial Details'.
We have added additional configuration on company setting for 'With Tracking' and 'No Tracking' of KIT or Combo products. so based on this configuration, automatic reservation of component products containing combo products will be done only if combo product is tracking by 'Serial/Lot' or 'No Tracking'.

1). Click on 'Settings' > 'Users and Companies' > 'Companies'
2). Switch to 'Sales' tab & select 'No Tracking' OR 'With Tracking' for 'Combo Product Delivery Priority'.
3). Product category configuration should be FEFO (First Expiry First Out) for component products.
4). Click 'Products' menu & Create 'Products' like as per below:
Main Product:
1).Combo Pack
- With No Tracking.
Component Products:
1).Biscuit
- With 'Lot' Tracking.
2).Chocolate
- With 'Lot' Tracking.
3).Chips
- With 'Serial' Tracking.

6). Click on 'Bills of Materials' menu & create bom of 'Combo Pack' product as per below

8). Click on 'Lot / Serial Numbers' menu
9). Here are the different 'Lots / Serial Number' of our combo pack product and their components
10). Here is the formview of lot/serial for the component product and need to configure 'Best before date' and 'Removal date' for all the required component products
11). Click on 'Manufacturing Orders' menu & create manufacturing orders
12). Here is the listview for manufaturing orders of 'Combo Product'
13). Here is the formview for manufacturing order of 'Combo Product' with component products with their required qty
14). Click on 'Products' menu
15). After the complete production of manufacturing orders, we can see the 'Qty on Hand' is reduced for related component product and combo product 'Qty on Hand' increased.
16). Now it's the show time, click on 'Quotations' menu & create 'Quotations'.
17). We have created two 'Sales Order' using 'Combo Product '
18). Detailed view of 'Sales Order' record having 'Combo Product' with 2 Qty
19). Currently we have total 3 'Qty on Hand' of Combo Product' before delivery order
20). Now, click on 'Confirm' button & generate 'Delivery Order'
21).Click 'Delivery' button & Open Delivery Order.
22). Click on 'Delivery' button on top-right corner button & view 'Delivery Order'
23).we can easily track the lot / serial details of eligible components of KIT or Combo products from delivery order on 'Component Lot / Serial Details'.
